"Cuadrado received many convincing offers. The relationship between #Juventus and his agent is tense."

[Momblano - Juventibus via @AroundJuventus]

- - - Updated - - -

The proposal of #Juventus for #Cuadrado was a 1-yr with an option for the 2nd that would be triggered upon reaching 70% of the total appearances. Whereas for the salary, the bianconero club proposed a reduction of close to 30%.

Unreal fuking Juve management! You should be ashamed of yourselves trying to save money by cutting Cuads salary. I would be totally offended by the suggestion alone and if something came up better to tell AA GFY I'm out of here.

Ironic we have players who are getting paid top dollar and have produced relatively nothing but a player like Cuads who has produced lots getting lowballed. Disgraceful.

Rabiot getting 7M with little accomplished and Cuads only 3.5M but lets cut his salary down.

The only player with a higher salary on our team that has deserved every euro the past two seasons. Similarly to Perisic, if this guy became available, I'm sure several teams would be happy to give him what he wants

Didn't we already renew him for another year?
Nope. It was an automatic renewal triggered by reaching certain sporting objectives. What we're currently trying to do is renegotiate the terms of the deal, by asking him to sign for two years (through to 2024) on a 30% (reported) salary reduction. Total BS if you ask me. Then again, I'm no fan of that brutish oaf Arrivederci and the dude that looks like a middle school science teacher Chimichanga.

It’s really disgusting how this amazing, hard working, key player, who never complains an smiles is being treated smh. If he leaves, I will totally understand but wtf is wrong with the board, if he departs based on a pay cut when he was already giving his all while being underpaid.

as I understand it, after the automatic renewal we're trying to make him sign for 2 seasons roughly for the salary of 1, apparently he doesn't want that (shocker!) and that means he's "not non-transferable".

if in the case of A.Sandro not non-transferable means the only way he's leaving is if we give him a golden handshake and then he can go play in Turkey or Brazil, in Cuads case I imagine there're plenty of teams who'd happily have him, he is absolutely a WC RWB. it'd be so retarded if we lost our best performing player because we wanted to save 2-3 mEUR...

I am way more inclined to believe this rumor rather than listening to what that bs specialist Momblano has to say…

Cuadrado is staying for sure from the way i see things, and for good reasons, all this rumors about Juventus now pushing him out are just speculations from unreliable journalists trying to connect it with the potential arrival of Molina, making it sound as if we can’t keep both, which in fact for only one season we definitely can.

I'm sure this contract situation contributed to his decline at the end of the season, but I'm also concerned about us being reliant on him going forward.
He's not the same i agree, shouldn't be looked at as a starter.
As a team we are still much better off keeping him around for this season rather than without, he will surely get plenty of minutes regardless of his role.

His versatility and experience is going to be needed during a long season.

It's funny how people say Momblano is trash, especially when there's good news. But as soon as he posts about some bullshit putting the club in a bad light somehow the very same people don't hesitate to bash our directors and the club itself. Make up your minds, he is either reliable or he is not, it's like you have some agenda.. just kidding I know you have.

People spend the entire window bashing the club and directors over rumours, every summer lol. 95% of it is utter trash.
