I like the idea of him in that role. Gives us something unpredictable.

Better as a CAM if he is going to play centrally. He was very successful there with Fiorentina. He never played CM for Fiorentina...maybe 1x in his whole career, according to whoscored.

Cuadrado has no business anywere but the flank.

He cant shoot, cant pas, has horrible vision. But he is very fast, has immense stamina and workrate, is aggressive, very good at trickery dribbeling in space and horrible to deal with

yeh, his endproduct, his vision , passing and shooting is below average. Too many negatives that are a must for a CAM

But he is good at running at people and. well running and running. WHich is nothing bad actually is good... but he is not a CAM.

I agree with this - combined with deep runs. He is no trequartista, but Montella felt comfortable playing him in a central free role.
