He'd be world class with end product, that much is obvious. So in the games where he does get that final pass or shot in he does put in that level of performance, just a little off it yesterday. That pace against a last man is an absolute no-contest.

I'd really like to see him play on the left side of a 4-3-3. His issue is always end product, and you increase that percentage drastically if you're inverted. Scoring from your natural wing is simply not as easy.
--------Cuadrado---Higuain-----Dybala-----
-------Pjanic----------------------Khedira----
------------------Hernanes-------------------
Sandro---Chiellini--------Bonucci----Alves

Dybala can play a bit more like a secondary striker, while Cuadrado will play as a pure inverted winger.

Cuadrado very rare if ever played on the left. And it's very hard to cut inside with his dribbling, he needs space to operate and you don't find space in the middle.

Well, I can tell you one thing statistically. If I take all the games he played as a pure right winger (not wing back), and all those that he was played on the left, the results are this:

RW/RM
42 Apps
8 Goals
8 Assists

LW/LM
13 Apps
7 goals
3 assists

That tells me that when has played, mostly for Fiorentina in 2013/2014, he did very well on the left side.

For example, he had one clear cut chance last game, but had to shoot with his right foot from the right side and it went wide. If he was on the left side, the chances of him burying that would have been much higher.

Hm, I've gone to check your statistic on transfer market and it doesn't show me anything like that at all for 2013/2014 season.

you can filter by position, under history and details...

Here is a quote from Vincenzo Montella:
http://www.violanews.com/news-viola/montella-vogliamo-vincere-giocando-bene/?refresh_ce-cp

Cuadrado?

You can see of few of them here...

There also really cool analytics on this page:

Thanks, dude. Really interesting statistics, looks like you are right. For some reason I thought that Montella used 352 almost always.
I think though if we are gonna use 433 Pjaca might be the first pick to play on the left.
Looks like Max more interested in build up play from Cuadrado, his ability to stretch defense than his finishing.

The biggest weakness of the 3-5-2 is getting pinned back and not having an outlet to break the pressure. Allegri changed that when he came in and installed multiple outlets and keeps adding them. Alves/Cuads or Morata coming back and dribbling out all break the pressure and make the opposition retreat. Thats what Cuads does better than any of the other players on our team

Yeh.

Conte 352 was shid because when pinned and not in control we had no ways to counter attack or relieve the pressure from our defenders.

352 with players like morata, cuadrado or maybe pjaca , could be a total different thing

Such an important player, game-changer. This guy can cover 6-7 positions in the team. He's like Padoin, but with lots of cocaine.

Lol game changer? He's shit, the purest fancy player with absolutely no end product I've ever seen.

Cuadrado could've had a better career as a freestyler footballer.
