Weird.

But to speak the truth, I just dont see much playing time for him. Allegri is playing Pjaca 5 mins a game, he already implied he wont give 4 men defense a go before the middle of the season, he wants to make Licht feel important.

If Dybala and Alves stay healthy, Cuadrado will probably be a fringe player. He'd need a coach willing to change schemes more often to play.

Allegri is preparing them like our secret weapon for the final stages of CL

Allegri has now confirmed reports of a disagreement with the Colombian in training, although he asked to leave as opposed to storm out.

“From the beginning no, but maybe in the match,” the Coach said at a Press conference.

“He did all the training the other day and asked me to go home because he was upset, so I decided to go along with him, but he’s back now and it’s all good.”

So Cuadrado tells boss man, that his upset, and boss should go home and at the end they go together? Yep I can imagine that scene.

Cuadrado will play a lot. He's superior player to Liechsteiner and D. Alves is already 33 years old so needs rotation. Also, 4-3-3 seems the best scenario when we need to rest Dybala.

Translation was missing, probably on purpose.

Allegri said Cuadrado said he had "familiar problems". And then that he saw that Cuadrado was upset, and let him go.

But yes, it leads us to think the reason was really the lack of playing time.

1. David Alaba (45m)
2. Jordi Alba (35m)
3. Marcelo (30m)
4. Alex Sandro (26m)
5. Rodriguez (25m)

Top 5 left back in the world according to Transfermarkts value :touched:
I have to see more of the first 2, but at first sight I wouldnt exchange Sandro for none of these.

Bayern player and wannabe Bavarian. Quality wise i'd do it i guess.
hes probably the only LB id give up AS for too even though i think AS is the complete wingback. speed, strength, stamina, dribbling, crossing, hes got everything. i havent seen Alaba as a wingback at all, so cant say if he would be better than AS in that role for us

Only question mark is his stamina, otherwise hell yeah.

thats one of my concerns too, as well as him never so far in his career (or not that im aware of) having to play in a not wing based formation where he would have to cover the entire flank by himself (either as a LWB in a 352 or LB in a 4312). he could probably adapt to it without much problems (there is nothing suggesting he couldnt really), especially in a strong possession team where he wouldnt have to track back very often, but maybe playing in a 352 would expose some of his flaws which im not aware of yet, which is why im not sure id trade him for AS who is a guarantee for us on that left side. even if Alaba has been the best LB in the world last few seasons imo

You reckon they might have been sucking each other off? I knew Allegri was a dedicated man manager but gee whiz.

My theory was always that Bepps wanted him but Allegri is not a fan.
How could he not be after Cuadrado was so important last season? I'm not sure Allegri is big on wingers in general though.
