I dont think he will get much playing time this year.....what is Alegri planning to do with him i cant really understand. I like Cuadrado, thats not my point, but do we really need him?
He plays RWB in 3-5-2 and RWF in 4-3-3. Even though the former is our main formation and he will need to compete with Dani, Allegri tends to display 4-3-3 quite often, also in big games like the second tie against Bayern. Plus now we have a LWF in Pjaca, I think 4-3-3 might be used even more often.

No he wouldn't. He will be an important player for us.
I guess I am more skeptical than you. I really don't think Allegri likes him. He had to beg to come back, and did everything in his power. If we wanted him that badly, I think we would have sorted it out earlier in the summer.

What is your explanation for him not getting 1 minute so far this year?

He came in late. Will get plenty of minutes. Not heard Allegri say anything other than positive things about him.

Feel bad for him. He's proven time and time again he's effective. But Allegri sees him as our 3rd choice wing back and that's about it. No point talking about how high up on the pecking order he is as a winger, considering Allegri needs to be held at gun point to even consider using such a formation. Even if it's just a plan B.

I think Cuadrado would've been brought on if we didn't need to replace Benatia earlier.

With only two subs really to effect the outcome, Allegri brought on Higuain for Mandzukic, always the first sub we should do if Higuain, and then Pjaca for a defender, a clear message of intent to push for a goal. Cuadrado replacing Licht doesn't come before those two subs imo so it's not a big deal he wasn't brought on. If Benatia would've been healthy and finished the match, I could've seen Cuadrado for Licht in the 65-70th minute.

Relax everyone, this game is first time he was truly benched. The others he barely been with the team since first time he joined the club is after NT break.

I'm guessing Pjaca came in today instead of him because he is further ahead in his conditioning / accustomed to what Allegri asks for right now.

I wonder when we decide to rest dybala, and the opponent is shitty the italian fuck, if we'd go 4-3-3 with Pjaca and Cuadrado flanking Pepita or ManBro, backed by Lemina holding Pjanic and Disco Stu.
