Yeah. We should give chances to everyone; let's be sympathetic and compassionate towards all our trash. While we are at it, we should also afford an extra opportunity to Motta, Pepe, Amauri, and Iaquinta
I can't be harsh on Martinez, because he was hurt for most of the season, and used out of position for most of the matches he played in.

When he was further up the pitch in a more attacking role, he was more useful.

It's almost impossible to judge his season last year, because I can't tell you whether he was fully fit in any of the matches he played in.

Motta, Pepe, Iqauinta, Amauri, well, those are different stories entirely.

I still can't believe how fucked this deal really is !!

We paid 12 mil for this guy who was nothing special in this league even though it's retarded but atleast that something i can live with.

The thing that i will never understand is, why buy a player for that kind of money only to play him out of position when you already know that we're gonna play a 4-4-2 formation ?!

Not a fan of conspiracy theories, but i can't help but think there is something fishy about this deal.

Catania is a small ass club who never sold any of their players for that kind of money and Marotta is just an empolyee in Juve, why not make several millions on the side when he already knows that he won't last here forever ?

Call it ridicolous but i seriously think there is more to this deal than it seems.

What a painful, frustrating situation this is - such a dysfunctional year for the team and the player. It doesn't seem like Conte rates the guy at all, and we're destined to take a pretty significant loss on this transaction (without ever really seeing the player healthy, or playing in a healthy environment).

How Marotta ever came to the conclusion that he could play wide in a 4-4-2 (or that he was worth 12M) is beyond me.
