I feel sorry for this guy. He is already the Juventuz whipping boy. I personally liked Martinez the few times I watched Catania. This guy ripped apart big clubs when there.

Its unfortunate we really don't need him considering he is best played as SS. Everyone is up in arms that this money should have gone to defense but in reality its not his fault. I just hope he doesn't become the whipping boy and adjusts with a different role in Juve. If he can play competently on the Left side it would be fantastic IMHO
Yeah, it's not really George's fault.

Marotta and DN take the blame for whatever happens. Martinez was never that spectacular to begin with, although he can get into good scoring positions at times.

People are really judge player by their first impression. I don't get why the hate about Martinez here. People really noticing how he played and said he is invisible, while for the most part i would say our new signing who played the worst is Marco Motta..

But some people here hailed Motta when he join our team so he can escape the criticism.. You can see nobody go to Motta thread and bitching about how he played.. Yes, i do agree about the decision why Marotta sign him with 12m while we can buy LB (like Tremoullinas etc) for that amount which LB is our position that need to be improved.. But signing has been made and Martinez has become our player.. so i hope people can be objective when judge him

Next, you will see how people defend Krasic if he play bad game in the several beginning matches because they want him so much and already bitching on Marotta because it took so long to sign Krasic.. It's how people defend Momo when he played bad game in the past with fasting reason.. Do you see how Kanoute scored 2 games against Barca on Monday when he fast

Come on, Poulsen is actually good, we haven't seen anything from this guy, it's not that I defended Poulsen just to be opposing the masses.
Yeah, agreed. I defended Poulsen because he is actually good. This guy hasn't done anything to show me the criticism isn't deserved.
I was kidding about the new Poulsen bit. Something between me and Buck Fuddy.

Anyways, the guy was brought in for a position he doesn't play. So if Del Neri insists on playing him there, either lay off the guy until he gets a few games and maybe adapts to his new role or start screaming at Del Neri and Marotta for bringing in the wrong guy. Its not George's fault.

But why hate on any of the mediocre players we sign? Clearly almost any player would jump at the chance to sign for Juve even if they aren't good enough for a big team so its understandable from their perspective.

Its always the managements fault for signing a player who isn't good enough.

He will be a decent player. Every one here cried out loud for a winger capable of fancy stuff instead of hard worker like Pepe, now you got him. What more do you want? It's not like you can buy Ribery for 12 millions. When he gets fit and develops some understanding with brazilian gang he will be useful.
