Decent 2nd half but imo his biggest problem will be we paid 12m for him and sold Diego for 15m.. Personally I would rather have kept Diego and even played him on the left if that was the only space for him.

I'm not going to make any rash predictions about how good this guy will be.

However, he seems to have a decent touch and his movement is interesting.
No doubt. He seems to be everywhere, all sides. His technique seems very good and passing is spot on most of the time. It's not simple passing game and I like it.

We all knew Martinez could dribble, but I see he can pass much better than Felipe Melo.

Melo is the king of the mis-placed pass.
His passing has been very good so far this season, and I personally think he's an above average passer for a DM.

I believe you may need to be introduced to Momo Sissoko - the legitimate king of the mis-placed pass.

In fairness to Momo, I thought he played pretty well today though; kept things nice and simple for the most part.

Edit: And back on topic, I thought Martinez was good today for his first partial shift up front. He may just become Jorge "The Solution" Martinez, yet.

Which is all that is required of him, other than of course the hard tackling.

Why is this guy "the question mark"? Any specific reason, or...? Because it seems to me, most of our buys are "question marks".
