Also, he was bought by Chelsea and this summer Milan did everything to get him but they failed. There must be a reason why big clubs are after him.

But i didn't mean to compare them. Maybe Crisicito is a great talent, he wasn't though what we needed last year. In addition to this, Criscito was just 19 when we bought him and we hoped to be a great defender. Ivanovic is 24 and he has wasted the one big chance he had to play in a big club. So if he was not good enough in Chelsea why he would be good enough in Juve???

I prefer someone who is young and has proven what he is mad of, like Zapata. Someone who will help immediately our defence...

The guy is better at CB, much better than at RB. What you said means nothing about his defensive qualities, it just means that he's not good enough to play RB for a big team.

then Mellberg, he already made mistakes against Fiorentina which one of them cost us a goal (owned by Gila, same like Criscito owned by Totti might be)..then he made a mistake again against Udinese (Floro Flores 88th minute chance) which can cost us again 2 points...
Also than that we must give the credit that Criscito make partnership with Andrade in that 4 matches not with Chiellini...Like Legro or Mellberg, they look great when partnership with Chiellini....and Criscito can learn to become WC CB like Chiellini
As Mellberg and Molinaro are more experienced in top level league football so i think so we must rated Criscito fairly..

when ivanovic joined chelsea in january, he had already played a full season with Lokomotiv... so they left him in the reserves to be used in the next season... by then he was way down the pecking order coz Terry and Carvalho are permanent in the starting line up and Ivanovic was rotten on the bench so long that they decided to keep him on the bench... he might not be as sharp as he was earlier, but he'd still be a good signing if we manage to sign him... Chelsea is looking for the same amount they paid for him... most clubs will not be willing to shell out so much coz he hasn't played any games for a long time now...

Mellberg had played for many years in England. Give him some time to settle in in the italian style of defending. Don't judge him now. Remember how much time we gave to Tiago to settle in.
