Juventus president Jean-Claude Blanc has been placed under the protection of armed guards after receiving a number of violent threats in relation to the club's dire season, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Officers from the Digos, a branch of the Italian police that deals with serious and organised crime, have been escorting Blanc, who has become concerned with the nature of the intimidation attempts.
Juventus have also called in a protection team to Vinovo, the club's training ground, after players also received threats.
Meanwhile, the rest of the team have restarted training following the Easter break ahead of their clash with Cagliari.
