How come that Marchisio is 158 in Castrol rankings and Melo is 394?

by the way Mascherano is 247 and Aqua - 245.

Mascherano is better than Melo.

Juve needs reliable wall in front of defence, like they had than they played with Deschamps or Davids. Melo won't fit into same category, Mascherano - would!

Best would be to sell Melo and buy Mascherano, in addition buy someone like Migliaccio (loved his display against Milan) to keep Marchisio fighting for the place. Allso either keep Aqua or buy someone more creative like Montolivo, Pastore or Jovetic. Play 451, 4231 or 4411 system with 3 midfielders.

OK, my bad, please don't do that to me....

Being born quite stupid I'm going to ask few more questions about Castrol rankings: isn't there any scientific statistical correlations made then putting together these rankings? If it is so, then if right conclusions are made they could prove useful. What is so wrong about them?

Don't feel offended. It's just that the Castrol rankings have no credibility and shouldn't be used as measure to compare players.
:) I's all good. I'm OK with such opinion, but why? Castrol claim to have developed scientific method to measure players involvement and their usefulness to the team. I probably want to hear more than just "no credibility".

They say it's scientific, but do they explain how they do it. I have seen the rankings before and it just looked ridiculous. Besides, we know you can't really measure all players by stats.

Amauri for example has the most playing time of any striker in the last 3 years at Juve...some might think that as a result he is the best...when it's the exact opposite. Science wouldn't need to prove that every player was injured and our coaches were retards...:D

Apparently they do, explanations can be found on their site. Haven't really looked at it in detail but, at first glance, it does seem to make some sense.

Same for me. It looks quite decent, and thou i'm not entirely sure about ratings from different leagues, ratings from one team must be correct, hence the comparison between Melo, Aqua and Marchisio can be quite true.

I can sense something is wrong with ratings in general, and us not knowing how they strung together in detail might be the reason. But anyway they make some sense.

Of course he's staying.
Come on guys, he became a starter and is starting to play excellent. Going from Barca to Juve today is like Melo going from Juve to Cagliari.
He wont be starter there for sure just waiit to be back : Pique , Puyol . So Busquets will be back at MF , and Masch will move to bench .
And i dont agree with that part , even like team now we suck , we are mutch bigger team than Barcelona .
I know some people think im talking stiupid things , but Juventus is bigger team than Barcelona .
All what Barcelona fans love from their team is Ronaldinho , all Barca fans i know are fans since 2006 , im talking for fans from my country .
There are alot of team bigger than Barcelona , Juventus,Real,Milan etc . . .

Btw for me is ok if he wont come , any time any day for me Melo > Masch .
