What an exciting player to base our hopes and dreams on, a destroyer.

Typical Juventus.
It's not like I agree with you in every post. Here you are spot on.. Can't believe when I read that Mascherano is the TOP-priority for next season. The player to do it all for us.. He is a great destroyer and defensiv midfielder, but nothing more really..

Laughing out loud at someone's opinion is always an excellent idea. Should try it more often myself as well.

Obviously more consistent at being incosistent.
And here comes troll number one as well. That didn't take too long.

Never mind the fact that YOU were the one who assumed I'd rank Marchisio among the best CM's (why, I still don't understand), whereas I just highlighted a rather odd claim made by natedizzle89.

You should stick to what you're good at. Telling people to jog on and such.

It's weird. People easily forget that Melo was arguably our best player for the first half of the season. He's dropped off, sure, but only alongside the rest of the team.

I don't think Marchisio's ever actually strung together more than two good games.
I have not forgotten Melo's good games, trust me on that.

But, as I have said in an other thread earlier, when I take a look at the overall, average performances throughout the season so far, Marchisio scores better than Melo for me. It's not a huge difference though.

I'm not really seeing how that's possible. Marchisio is usually pretty invisible, so how do you even know he's playing?

Again with the invisibility thing. Some (a lot of) people may feel that way. I do not.

Case in point being the game last Sunday. Even though I don't think he had a great game (besides Del Piero, no one had), to me he was not invisible. Doing a lot of the dirty work, every one else neglects. A lot of it off the ball, admittedly.
But then when I read the comments on the forum, many people seemed to think Aqui for example did quite well, while Marchisio was invisible. I personally can not agree with that.

How come that Marchisio is 158 in Castrol rankings and Melo is 394?

by the way Mascherano is 247 and Aqua - 245.

Mascherano is better than Melo.

Juve needs reliable wall in front of defence, like they had than they played with Deschamps or Davids. Melo won't fit into same category, Mascherano - would!

Best would be to sell Melo and buy Mascherano, in addition buy someone like Migliaccio (loved his display against Milan) to keep Marchisio fighting for the place. Allso either keep Aqua or buy someone more creative like Montolivo, Pastore or Jovetic. Play 451, 4231 or 4411 system with 3 midfielders.

For recent standards it was alright, I only saw one move which is something a €16m player would do.
