Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez is the deadliest striker in the Premier League, opta stats have revealed.
The Mexican hitman has only played 622 minutes of football in the English top flight this season, but that hasn’t stopped 'the little pea’ from netting eight times for the Red Devils.
That means Hernandez scores a goal every 77.8 minutes for Sir Alex Ferguson’s side – putting him head and shoulders ahead of the competition.
Super sub Adam Le Fondre comes second on the list, with his 10 goals for Reading coming in 996 minutes. Six of those have come from off the bench, which equals a Premier League record for Brian McDermott’s star striker.
