Like who? The guy puts the ball in the net, I find it hard to criticise any striker who does that.
If you actually want a forward in that respect,I would go for Lewandowski rather.Unlike Chica ,he's technically a very good player(Able to play SS too) and has racked up very impressive stats over the past 2 years. He and Llorente would make a very flexible partnership in my opinion with both being capable of easily interchanging positions.

Dortmund director today expressed an interest in Dzeko and with Bayern unwilling to pay anything for him ,we should try and put in a cheeky bid for him. This very much seems like a Vidal scenario to me and BVB i'm sure would much rather be interested in selling him abroad.

Can't we just use the thread I already made for him?

No offense, Vinny.

Also Fergie won't let him go.

I'm not saying I am looking for us to sign Chicarito, but I don't see what is wrong with him as a player. Why does he have to be able to do other things well and play other positions? Was Red Rum any good at dressage?

We lack a goalscorer, he scores goals. We also lack a quality second stirker, but I'm not advocating him trying to fill that position.

There were stories recently that Hernandez had handed in a transfer request, i don't blame him to be honest Fergie seems to have more faith in welbeck as a starter. News of Hernandez to Juve though realistic i feel i've only seen in the daily mail which isn't the most reliable source, i still think our focus will be mainly on securing Sanchez

He's fine with not being a starter imo. The new Ole Gunnar.

Supposedly he is the backup plan if we fail to tempt Suarez to move here.

Is he really an upgrade to our current strikers is the question that needs to be asked? He has a knack of being there at the right places at the right time y'all say but that's just saying that the defenders that ought to have been protecting their turf were playing as a CM(see David Luiz for example).Of the matches i've seen of manure(admittedly limited),he isn't someone who would wow you with skills.Poacher-we got matri.
Also, against the parked buses that juve faces in serie a,against defenders who know what the word 'defender' stands for, watch his total goals scored get halved if we're lucky.
A strict no to even considering the transfer. We have signed enough average at best forwards for too long.We need someone with class in them to dominate european football.

As much as I like him...no, just no, he's not a particularly skillful guy, he can't create goals or make space for himself. He's a great poacher but we have Matri and Llorente for this. I hope he's not the one we sign, we are lacking a Jovetic/Isco type of guy.
Matri is not a poacher... he is not.. anything really.

Sometimes I wonder what some people see when then they watch players...FFS the bolded part, Chicarito is one of the best at the game at making space for himself, its his main strenght, besides his impeccable finishing.

They wouldnt get to the position of scoring these "easy" goals majority of the time, there is more to scoring goals then the final finish...

Bendtner NEVER has scored 10 goals in EPL despite being there long time (and playing for attacking Arsenal), while Chicarito scores double figures in half a season off the bench.
