Jankulovski set for Milan Tuesday 21 December, 2004

Milan have allegedly beaten Juventus in the race to sign Marek Jankulovksi from Udinese.
Reports in the peninsula on Tuesday suggest that a deal has already been agreed between the two clubs.
The champions will sign the player in January, for around £6.5m, but allow him to remain with the Bianconeri until the summer.
That agreement suits the Friuli outfit who would like to keep the Czech ace in a bid to qualify for the Champions’ League.
Milan have decided to target Jankulovski, who was also linked with Inter, given that Serginho is likely to leave at the end of the season.
Should Jankulovski join Milan then that could in turn be bad news for newly promoted Fiorentina.
That is because Juventus would then be expected to recall the highly-rated Giorgio Chiellini.
The left-back, who was recently handed a full international cap, is currently on loan with the Viola from the Turin giants.
The Tuscan club were keen to keep him for at least another season but that may now not occur.
