Hint: The San Siro is one of the biggest stadiums in the list. Almost as big as Dortmund's home, which is only smaller than Real's & Barca's.
You could also compare everything with the 2nd biggest Italian stadium (Roma, about 80% bigger than ours).

yes of course that is, matchday revenues will be the italian clubs biggest hope to compete with arabs, EPL, classico and bayern... they cannot hope to italian tv revenues, nor they can hope in merchandising as EPL, classico simply dominate anything else.
it's the potency in income, our stadium limit that potency seriously... at least romas and milans or even napoli can raise the ticket fee to fight and surpass ours.
our last published season income was somewhere around 200M euros IIRC, europe big boys are at 450-550M more than twice of ours... agnelli stated that we need at least 300-350M to be able to compete with them, my guts said it still quite lacking, we need somewhere in the region of 400M.
how are we going to achieve that? matchday revenues should be one of the top things that can and needed to be increased; now with a tiny stadium -and lack of local supporters, sadly- it's not going to help.
speaking about stadium, how was delle alpi at european big matches? how was the attendance and income (need to be adjusted to inflation)... IIRC the stadium was packed when we beat madrid in 2003, was that 60K? more? how was the income compared to vs chelski last time (adjusted of course)?

The potential income would be wow yes, but on the other side, there will be a lot of empty places. Especially against teams like Siena, Catania, Chievo...

The problem with Juventus is that Italy isn't interesting enough for sponsors. Look at us, Jeep with 35 million over 3 years, that was a weak deal. Just look at the old glory Liverpool, they have a great deal, idem other teams in England, Germany of Spain. Also nike, with only 12.5 million a year, compare that with other teams in Europe..
We should renew and increase our deal with nike.. Our target should be at least 18 million a year, and even more if you compare our deal with other teams. Look at Roma, they want to reach a deal with nike for at least 15 million a year.. Well, Juve is in every concept bigger so, 1+1=2. Their shirtsponsor will b Volkswagen, with also a nice deal.
And another important thing, commercial business.. Juve should look at the bundesliga teams..

I can agree at some point. The club of our stature certainly needs bigger stadium than 40k seater. Now the club can only increase ticket prices to optimize demand and it won't be welcomed by the fans especially while Italy is probably after Spain and Greece in the worst economical situation. But on the other hand I think that we didn't have enough funds and resources to build bigger one. Don't forget that 120M for building this one is a bargain. Anywhere else the costs would be doubled. And most of it has already been payed through various agreements.
We recorded all time high match day revenue that evening. I think it was 3.7M but apart from that game and some major ones Delle Alpi was pretty much abandoned. Whoever went there could see why. Poor transport, visibility, lack of additional contents, safety problems (couple of guys were smoking weed beside me, so you wouldn't bring your family to that event).
More than 95% of our league games have been sod out this and last season. The empty places which you can see are from season ticket owners not showing up.

I know that . But there are like 39k places for Juve fans at this moment, which is ok at this moment. However, I think that a stadium with a capacity of +70k is to much. I know that Delle Alpi was a horrible stadium and that the stadium was unpopular, but the average attendance was never over 52k in a year. If we take the average over 5 years then it won't even be 47k. With this new stadium, which is very popular, i think we should take 57-60k. If its 57, than 55k for Juventini, 2k for the visitors. If it's 60k, 57.000 for Juve, other places for the visitors. Stadiums over 70k will be to much in my opinion. With a Stadium with the capacity of 57-60k Juve can have a nice revenue, more than some English of German teams.
We show a little improvement with the current JEEP deal but we shouldn't be satisfied with that deal. It's oke for a year or 2, but after that we should go for something bigger. Why not Exorr or Fiat, do a Manchester City trick or call it however you want. Or like Barca and Arsenal, Qatar Airways. Last summer there were rumours about Juve and Qatar Airways, such a shame that we ended up with JEEP. And about popularity, if Juve keep playing like this it will change quick. My goal: Nike deal with at least 18 million a year, a jersey sponsor with at least 20 million a year. If that happens then the gap between us and the top of Europe (United, Barca, Bayern, Real etc) will be smaller.
