I know that . But there are like 39k places for Juve fans at this moment, which is ok at this moment. However, I think that a stadium with a capacity of +70k is to much. I know that Delle Alpi was a horrible stadium and that the stadium was unpopular, but the average attendance was never over 52k in a year. If we take the average over 5 years then it won't even be 47k. With this new stadium, which is very popular, i think we should take 57-60k. If its 57, than 55k for Juventini, 2k for the visitors. If it's 60k, 57.000 for Juve, other places for the visitors. Stadiums over 70k will be to much in my opinion. With a Stadium with the capacity of 57-60k Juve can have a nice revenue, more than some English of German teams.

We show a little improvement with the current JEEP deal but we shouldn't be satisfied with that deal. It's oke for a year or 2, but after that we should go for something bigger. Why not Exorr or Fiat, do a Manchester City trick or call it however you want. Or like Barca and Arsenal, Qatar Airways. Last summer there were rumours about Juve and Qatar Airways, such a shame that we ended up with JEEP. And about popularity, if Juve keep playing like this it will change quick. My goal: Nike deal with at least 18 million a year, a jersey sponsor with at least 20 million a year. If that happens then the gap between us and the top of Europe (United, Barca, Bayern, Real etc) will be smaller.

About the Italian league, true. For me 18 teams are more than enough and maybe the should start a little bit earlier. A break from 22-12 untill 14-15 January is also okay, players can recover better. Other Italian teams have plans for new stadiums, halleluja.
I agree with that and we would lose that great atmosphere like we have now. I would like somewhere in region of 50-55K but I don't know if it can be expanded.
Well Exor loaned us plenty of money in the last 3 years and they aren't operated in the way those Arab companies are. They have more responsibility to their shareholders and can not conclude silly deals like Etihad did with City. Fiat is our sponsor indirectly through Jeep.
And 18 teams was perfect combination for me also. Players would have more rest, less games would increase quality and anticipation.
match attendance is NOT the big money-spinner for football clubs, you need marketing and commerical tie-ups to make the big bucks.
Ticket sales, sponsorship agreements, TV rights, CL money are all valid streams of revenue. You can't depend on just one or two of these activities because you become more prone to risk. United recorded around 100M from ticket sales. It's 30% of their revenue.

Bianco2nero, remember that this stadium was build accoding to the statistics of our match attendance in the past decades.

The only, ONLY time i saw delle alpi fully packed was against Madrid in 2003, and there were a few other games which were very packed too but not as much.....

but in every other game... the stadium was a ghost town. I really dont want to return to those days in comparison with our current stadium.

Lets wait a couple more seasons to judge... but right now i think we are fie, considering that even when juventus was a force... the attendance was rarely outstanding.

That's why it's laughable when people say John Elkann doesn't care about the club.
He invested plenty of money in the past two years. Through subscription of shares last last January and October 2011 more than a 120M was invested in order for a club to run successfully. Without that money our capital would become non existent one and we would declare bankruptcy.

But he bought that Cricket club and obviously does not care about Juventus.
We don't know all the details behind that transaction. He is a businessman who probably saw an opportunity which will bring him higher profits in the end. It will indirectly benefit us as well.

This is so confusing, I can't even begin to understand what you mean.

Unless, of course, you're saying "bigger stadium automatically means more matchday revenue". But nah, surely no one can be this shortsighted?

Hint: The San Siro is one of the biggest stadiums in the list. Almost as big as Dortmund's home, which is only smaller than Real's & Barca's.
You could also compare everything with the 2nd biggest Italian stadium (Roma, about 80% bigger than ours).
And to strengthen your point..Dortmund have a 80,000 capacity stadium but earn lesser matchday revenue than us(28m lol can you believe it)

How much did we earn from tickets last year? 36mln, right?

With CHL and all we'll probably be around 50mln this season, which would make our tiny stadium with the highest revenue in Italy.

And 50 mils per season just in ticket sales is no joke.
