I remember watching CL games in 90's and early 2000's, always had plenty of empty seats in the Delle Alpi with all that great players and results we had, unless the game was against a big team. So, this is completely normal, nothing out of the ordinary.

I hope it will be named Scirea.

I actually believe if it wasn't for his death, he could have become the biggest in Juventus' history.

The tickets were what? 40 euro? thats not expensive for a CL game.
you do know italy is broke and season ticket holder need to pay also for this games. I think juve should give the season ticket holder a free entry to the danes game. Otherwise we will look at a footbal funeral again

How old are you? Did you see scirea play?
Nah, i've heard alot from my uncle how great he was, Youtube is the only thing i've been to watch him, and he was great. Of course it's not the best way to judge a player, but i believe my uncle.

Do you really think 40€ for the cheapest tickets (Curva) is not expensive? Tickets on the long side of the pitch went up to 130€ iirc. For a game in the group stages, against a "small" team. The majority of people (who can afford it) would much rather pay that money for a game against Chelsea, Inter, Milan, etc.

We still sold around 29,000 tickets and profited more than 1.5 mil from the Shaktar game.
Not bad. Not bad at all.

Yeah, the prices ranged from 90 to 130 for the central stands. That's not exactly cheap.
Serious
that is way to expensive
I paid 50 euro for a ticket for Real Madrid - Villareal (which were back then a sub top club.
Juve stadium is really expensive
I heard badass paid 50% of the normal price and still paid 60 euro.
and that for a country in financial crises :sergio:

I heard there was a transit strike in italy also....knowing the stadium is outside the City this could also be a reason. And Most of the Free seats where at the central stage..... They should make the prices cheaper especially for the groupe stages... Or sell at packages or like 50% Off for Season ticket Holders.....

Not good enough from the fans. The stadium is our fortress and their support clearly gives the team some strength. That game was so important.

Got this from sulia:

Juventus Ultra' Explain Empty Stadium in attack on Agnelli

Here is a translation of the letter the Ultra' posted in explanation of the empty (and quiet) stadium that Agnelli criticized.

"Here is your shitty stadium, Agnelli: the occasional fans in suits and ties in the curva, who complain about flags and those "assholes" who are on their feet signing and clapping until the 90th. Those "assholes" who travel many kilometers every, who work a shitty job or those who don't even have one. Those "assholes" who save up the whole week to just get a fucking ticket and then try to enter with a different name, because of the tessera del tifoso. Those "assholes" who take the bus or van to the game to save a few euros to buy a beer and sandwich, those "assholes" who get warned and denounced by the club and even get a fine of 170-500 euros for trying to enter, hoping to go in double in the turnstiles, because 40 euros in the curva for a Champion's League match seems very high.

Because of your fault, the curva is becoming a theater where only a few can attend. And then you go on Facebook, and I read you saying that the Curva isn't doing a great job cheering on the etam, and that at home on the couch, you can't hear the chants. Today, the "assholes" like you call them, were not allowed to enter in the stadium.

NO TO THE OCCASIONAL FAN.

Agnelli, put one thing in your head: WE ARE JUVENTUS!
