Attacking player who doesn't score, doesn't make assists and who is mentally and physically one of the weakest players in the league. On top of it, looks like he's a problem in the locker room too.
Exactly what we need.

But he makes nice dribbles, and plays great every game?
To be fair, his talent is not doubtful at all and in a good team with great atmosphere, with a great coach who will work with Menez and know how to integrate his qualities in the team, the Frenchy could be an excellent addition (but the accent is still on "could be").
Right now he's less useful than he is harmful. Dribble or two followed by a dive is the only thing we see from him. Extremely egoistic but not good enough to do things alone. Two goals and two assists in 31 serie A matches is an awful stat for an attacking player, especially since it follows a 09/10 season of 1 goal and 3 assists.

Yet he was Roma's best player in the first half of the season probably as he was great.

    Like what?

Montella hates him doesn't he? Attitude in training is shitty apparently.
Corriere wrote that. Montella himself said 'don't believe what papers say, it's not true'.

He played one single great match this year and that was against Udinese, where he both scored, assisted and was unstoppable. On that match he scored half of his goals and assists this year. On the other 30 matches in serie A he scored 1 single goal (in the 2nd part of the season) and had 1 single assist (in the 1st part). You're using "great" way too easy here.
How can an attacking midfielder who doesn't score and doesn't assist be great? The "invisible" Marchisio has 4 goals and 4 assists while at the same time the "great" Menez has 2+2.

And the locker room problems I mention are those with Montella, circulating in the press lately.
Also, if what you say is true and there are no problems, then the new rich Roma won't sell the guy and he's out of our reach.

Because he is one of the best examples ever (though maybe I should say so far) of technically talented players who look great at first sight, but who don't actually have any real contribution.

This simple stat alone says more than 3.000 beautiful youtube vids.

I'm pretty much with Fudcake here. I think he's a pretty decent player, but he has failed to impress me on most occasions, like I've said in the Discussion thread a while back when his name started popping up. A change of scenery could do wonders, but I wouldn't be overwhelmed if we got him.
