My thought as well. He is a frustrating player to watch. He will dribble past defenders only too shoot ten feet wide or try and earn a free kick by diving. He also has an attitude, clashing with management and fans at Roma. He might be more trouble than he is worth, but with his contract expiring next summer and likely to go for cheaper than usual, it's a tough opportunity to turn down.

Menez is definitely a bit of a live wire but at the same time look at Roma's captain. Totti can be the exact same way and things like that translate throughout the rest of the Roma squad.

One thing for sure is that you would never see DP or Buffon act in the way, or say some of the things Totti would do. This also translates throughout the rest of the Juventus squad. IMO, that type of thing wouldn't fly at Juve while guys like DP and Buffon are still there. DP has put players in their place on more than one occasion and I seriously doubt he would hesitate to do it again if need be.

Menez is clearly talented but imo a bit inconsistent I think we're better off getting a good LB and RB

Roma will have a huge financial injection next year and become very competitive if they play their cards right, while we will be dealing with the huge mistakes, we have committed this year
and are likely to waste two more years without any Europe competitions.
Why would a player like Menez made such a huge step back in his carrier?
