We just don't have a conversion.
Well, Dybala has 3 goals and an assist... While pretty much never starting... For some reason Allegri thinks it's a good idea to use our top scorer only as a sub, often too late in the game to make an impact.

We should have gone all in for Cavani this summer instead of Mandzukic. Now that would have been a brilliant signing.

We would still be in a mess. We have 2 very good strikers that Cavani would just bench. We have a big hole next to their position where Tevez used to play. We should have bought a fully established player instead of Dybala not instead of Morata/Mandzukic. Dybala then could be that player's substitute.

If the heavy down grade from Tevez was inevitable then atleast mitigate that loss by making a substantial improvement in CAM to make up for the fall in SS quality. We didn't.

Then there is Zaza :inter:.

 I said the same to Hist when he was saying Icardi is better than Morata. Aside from games against us, Icardi hasn't done well at all against the better teams in Serie A.

Although, to be fair... can Milan be considered a big game?
He scored against:

Fiotentina, Udinese, Juve, Napoli, Roma, Lazio.

In 2012 with Sampdoria, he was not even a starter and was on his first serie A season ever. He scored against Juve (3) and against Roma (1).

In 2013 with Inter, he scored against Juve (1), Fiorentina (1) and Lazio (1).

In 2014 with Inter, he scored against Udinese (2), Juve (2), Napoli (1), Roma (1)

In 2015 with Inter, he scored against Fiorentina (1).

So in short, he has demonstrated a very good capacity to score against big teams and has been absolutely lethal against us. Milan is the only team he has failed against so far and that is while he was playing at a miserable Inter. Trying to paint him as a big game flop is completely unfair especially that Milan is no longer a big team. Its fairer to include Sampdoria from previous seasons whom he regularly scored against too. I am baffled that you think he "hasn't fared well at all against big teams".

He is no Messi to score in every game against every big team. He is just a little kid. Icardi is an extremely promising youngster who was Serie A top scorer last season and can score against any team. I won't argue he is better than Morata in general but to paint him as a big game flop is really unfair.

I was like wtf, is he not in Sporting? Then read the whole deal collapsed because of image rights. He rather go clubless then compromise on image rights, jeez.
