Of course I will highlight the summer disaster, it's the reason I lost all hope for the team this term.
While you're not wrong, sometimes your message gets lost when, like a teenage girl, you threaten hysterically you will slit your wrists.

it is still possible no?
there are so many games left to play.
i dont get why some are sure this season is lost already.

some optimism is badly needed @Hustini
I said why, while there is still a chance to turn things around I am not getting my hopes up. Firstly because I lost hope (it can be gained) and secondly because I got my hopes up several times before this season only to get a reality check right after.

The scary part is that it's exactly this kind of delusion that got us relegated in 2006. These people are fucking crazy.
Yep. Inter, Roma, Napoli, Fiorentina... even Milan to a lesser extent... they overrate their mediocre teams and players to such a wild extent that they start believing these delusions that they are far better than Juventus and we can't be winning without cheating, and then the witch hunt begins.

surely i can find more than 10 pathetic mistakes in 3 seasons
Please do then.

But to conclude from the stats that Handanovic is any better than Buffon is simply not possible. These stats are much much more dependant on factors lying outside of a GKs influence than anything else. Buffon virtually never makes any critical mistake (something Handanovic (as most GKs) does more or less regularly). The last blunder in fact has been against Lecce or whatever in the 2011/12 season. Other than that he's had 3-4 shaky weeks at somepoint during the autumn of 2013, but other than that, nothing. And on the other hand he's saved our ass a fuckload of time, last match, or the CL final being just two examples.

You claiming that Handanovic is better than Buffon is I think very similar to Juve fans claiming Buffon to be better than Neuer. It's not even really up for debate.
If you are seriously saiyng that Buffon hasn't made one, as in singular, 'blunder' in 3 and a half seasons.... then yeah, there's really nothing up for debate. For reference, go to post 450 in this thread.

You were soundly beaten by Napoli and Roma, for one. You are currently behind the likes of Atalanta and your junior in Sassuolo. You're still in contention for a top 3 spot, but don't go around claiming other teams are mediocre, when you've had the worst start to a campaign in more than 50 years.

Again. You're on a Juventus forum. So honestly. Shut the fuck up with your nonsense. You're lucky this forum is much more accepting of shit from fans of other teams than Inter/Milan/Roma/Napoli forums where such nonsense wild elicit immediate bans for Juventus fans.

Plus. Are you really this fucking stupid? I've been very vocal in saying Marotta had a disastrous mercato, and destroyed our CL finalist squad and turned it into something mediocre. Juventus is very shit right now. That doesn't at all change the fact that Roma, Napoli, Inter, Viola are all incredibly mediocre, especially for leading this league. It's inarguable that the top of Serie A is weaker than any season in memory. I've been watching since the early 90s and there have almost always been 2 teams at least competitive as far as Europe goes. This is the very first season where there isn't a team in Serie A that's among the top 10 teams quality-wise in Europe. It's pathetic.

Yet moron fans liken the rise of their mediocre teams to the idea that they are actually good rather than Juventus falling off a map by losing its 2 best players of the last 2 years, explaining their "rise". Last season's Juventus would be on 29-30 points right now with the rubbish in Serie A. Serie A parity is at an all time high because the top of the league is trash. That is beyond obvious.

The fact you find Handanovic better than Buffon for a few years now is laughably stupid and flies in the face of pretty much every expert opinion on goalkeepers where Buffon is still considered a top 5 goalkeeper in all football and Handanovic nowhere close. 2 months of potentially superior play means absolutely nothing.

Please though, let's discuss Calciopoli and the absolutely disgraceful and grotesque part Inter played in order to finally win something. Alongside a stolen scudetto. Let's tak about Inter destroying Serie A with its shameful fabrication being the direct cause of the deplorable state of Serie A.

Absolutely untrue. A couple of Milan fans frequent our forum without much trouble. I'd wager, that the same would be the case for Juventus. Anyway, the premise that I should somehow bow down to you because I'm not of the same opinion, is laughable.

Keep beating the same ol' "Serie A was once the greatest league in the world"-drum. It probably never will be again. Also, obviously Juventus are worse off, but you'd have to be blind to not see that Fiorentina, Napoli and Inter have improved, and Roma certainly haven't worsened. They might not be at the level of the Juventus side of last season, but calling everything mediocre and basing it on a couple of one-off results against Bate and Basle is hyperbole.

'Potentially', lol. Says it all really. What experts' opinion? Yes, Buffon was voted the best goalkeeper last year, but you'd have to be ignorant to not think, that the fact that he played in a vastly superior side had nothing to do with it. That's just how it goes with award ceremonies. It also goes without saying, that one is also less exposed when playing for Juventus '14 than Inter 14'. The fact that Handanovic won the award in 2013 while his team finished 9 places lower than Buffon, speaks volumes of his abilities.

Let's talk about dinosaurs instead. Or Chinese pottery. Or something else that doesn't have anything to do with the discussion at hand.
