That French wing back with Roma was definitely training with them the past 3 years without anyone knowing
If you mean he looked so at home, he was groomed and developed by Garcia since his teens in Lille :D He perfectly knows his system, possibly more then other Roma players who been there for 2 years.

Makes sense, he will do them good. Do you see them as favourites for the league?

Anyone care to enlighten me how the current squad adheres to the Serie A 4+4 rule when the UEFA squad is only 23 players because it doesn't adhere to their 4+4 rules?

I do JCK, for few of months, until their loser mentality kicks in. And they get injuries in defence and midfield which they have little capable backup for.

Since when do we have the same rule restriction for Serie A? There is no list restriction for the league as much, we can bypass it and use any or whole Primavera or allievi squad if we wanted lol.

Interesting  I know it was talked of last year, but didn't know it was being passed through. It's not that limiting and should be doable.

Giaccherini relishes Bologna move
By Football Italia staff

Emanuele Giaccherini is “extremely happy to be back in Italy” with Bologna, but has no Sunderland regrets.

The versatile midfielder arrived on loan during transfer deadline day and was presented to the media.

“I am extremely happy to be back in Italy,” said the 30-year-old former Juventus man.

“I return with great enthusiasm and joy, so eager to challenge myself and do everything for Bologna. I immediately said yes when I got the call, as this is an historic club that still has big ambitions.

“My experience in England was wonderful and I’d do it again. I grew as a player, because they have a completely different style of football to ours.”

Giaccherini had struggled for playing time at Sunderland in recent months and this was one of the reasons behind his move.

“Certainly the Nazionale was in my thoughts, as every player wants to wear the Azzurri jersey of Italy. Right now the most important thing is to do my best for Bologna.

“I am physically fit and just need to train and play. I hope to be an important figure for this squad. I have a lot of experience and need to set the example for the younger players.

“I was very pleased that the fans came to welcome me. I told the Coach I am at his disposal, as I can play wide or more central. He will decide where to use me.”

Bologna general manager Claudio Fenucci revealed Giaccherini “took a significant pay cut compared to the conditions he had in Britain.”

They arent in A anymore, but sharing this clip anyway, its very nicely done piece.

They are promoting themselves to their fans for their open shareholder project they started, planning on making it a fan owned club:

'Milan are not desperate'

Milan released an official statement negating Zlatan Ibrahimovic's claims that they are 'desperate'.

The striker was the object of an extended hunt by the Rossoneri, who were ultimately unable to sign him, and was reported to have said that they were 'desperate'.

The club now released an official statement to explain their position.

“Milan are not desperate,” reads the statement.

“The great Ibra knows that, and along with his agent, is bewildered by the storm created by his comments, the translation given and above all for the way they were interpreted.

“Contacted by ACMilan.com, his agent Mino Raiola clarified: 'Zlatan said: Milan were trying to get me desperately. In the sense of the word intensely.

“'Clearly a positive meaning, not negative, he has never dreamed of labeling Milan.

“'So much so that he added an important concept that reinforces further the meaning of his thoughts, but that in Italy unfortunately was not reported or ignored and I hope not deliberately.

“'Zlatan in fact added that he was very proud that Milan were interested in him, it means he is still an important player because Milan, always the words of Zlatan, are a top level club.'”
