am i the only one who likes the idea being underestimated so early?!.. De Rossi was talking about how Seria A champions shouldn't relax in the last 10 minutes like they did against us.. i mean wtf seriously they think they already won the league.

after the Super Coppa they all talked about how Juve still the best team in Seria A. now they say otherwise.

finally a seria a to look for. winning seria a this year will taste good.

Yes, you are the only one feeling so. The fact is even if we lost some key players and haven't really got the best of the transfer window, we are still the number 1 fave for the Serie A tittle. I am pretty sure that we will win it this year, like how i predicted the since Conte second season, looking at the quality the rest of serie a clubs bought. We just have a slow start that's about it. There's no way that Roma defense can sustain the challenge of UCL and Serie A and eventually will falter .

I am definitely looking forward to this season! In CL especially, I want to beat those oil city, and Sevilla is a fantastic opponent in Europe, tough but victory against them will be damn sweet!

in Serie A, i must say, the Milan team have improved and so has Roma, Napoli, Lazio and Fiorentina probably became weaker or least stayed the same as last season.

the only concern I have is injuries, and how we only have 1 supporting striker in Dybala, Coman should have stayed or we should have brought in another young talent that can help the ss spot.

Forza Juve!!

I have serious doubts. If the players gel and we avoid injuries, we might just win it. However, Roma look dangerous, and I wouldn't discount Napoli just yet (without any CL commitments).

Milan are no threat, and Inter will eventually fall by the wayside.

It will be a long season.

One thing is certain, those times when we used to win Scudetto with 15+ points difference have passed.

Roma is Roma. They will fuck up somehow.

I'm actually expecting Inter to be the main threat this season. They had a pretty good mercato and no European commitments.
Both Milan clubs are the unknowns and could spring a surprise. We now what Roma is capable of and there's nothing suggesting that they'll be any different this season. They did have a decent mercato, which they did last year as well.

People are letting their win against us cloud their judgement. We would have lost against fucking Frosinone with the way we were playing, that formation we were using and the injuries in midfield we have to deal with.

Roma will end up 2nd or 3rd as per usual.

Inter literally have no midfielders with any attacking instincts. They'll fail again. Milan's chances will hinge on Bacca. However, he's an explosive player playing every two weeks on that San Siro pitch, so he's bound to get injured a lot

edit - I forgot Inter have the great Fredy Guarin

:agreed:

i dont think ppl do much critical analysis of these things. we were horrid. absolutely horrid. easy for any half decent team to run us the way roma did the way we were playing. obvious the team hasnt gelled yet and with Padoin as holding mid makes things worse

i think thats y ppl hav such a dim view of the mercato...just these mistimed losses...had we won convincingly ppl wouldve had a much favourable view of the market

how many sasons now ppl on here has splooged their seed at roma's mercato only to see them capitulate and become a laughing stock...ppl on here hav the memory of a potato

and allegri needs to stop fkn around with Tucumano the guy has earned his starts

We're 6 points behind a direct rival and we talk of Scudetto like it's piece of cake.

Talk about being complacent.

You can say what ever you want about Conte, but his feet was always on the ground, which cannot be said for some of our players and Allegri now.

It definitely won't be a piece of cake. We are already in a hole and the champions league group matches are coming up soon
