Jovetic was a nice acquisition. Man City didn't know what to freaking do with him. What a waste there.
Jojo doesn't suit their tactics. There's no way they gonna play another striker to partner Aguero up front. And his injuries, didn't help him either.

Inter just signed Perisic, big money signing. I wonder how he will fit in the starting line up.

I think they paid around 18m, is this big money?

i´m too tired to look it up but i´m sure last season´s inter won their fair share of games like the last 2...
as you said: 2 games mean nothing, especially when they are against really weak teams.

imo we can be quite satisfied with how the first 2 rounds went, apart from our own performance of course.
napoli $#@!ed up big time and roma already lost 2 points against beatable opposition. lazio got hammered as well.
imo those will be our main rivals in the long run.
I still see us as favorites and Roma second. I have watched plenty of games from inter last season and usually they threw those games away. Hope it's just early season fluke and they return to being chockes real quick

disagree but I wanted Jovetic on a loan
I would loved Jojo as am a big fan. A trident of Jojo-Morata-Dybala would ve been great.

As for my earlier point, anyone could argue that Icardi is better than Morata and Jojo when fit is better than Dybala atm, perisic is another player i like and i think he s good fit with those too.

exactly the way i see it.
juve, then roma, then the rest.
i´m not worried about inter but you never know with teams that don´t have to play in europe...

Icardi is a great finisher, but he doesn't provide anything in the way of lead up play, and can't create his own chances. Morata is a far more talented player, and even if Icardi scores slightly more over the season Morata is a more valuable player to have in a lineup given his overall skills.

Who exactly said Padoin, Sturaro and Pogba could dominate Roma's midfield.

Fully healthy I think our mid 3 is better, but even then it would be damn close
Some chest beating posts in few threads last week how Sturaro and Pereyra are better then Roma's starting trio etc...

No one was crazy enough to think Padoin would start again.

Oh Zach, although I'd imagine DP84 and Zizi would have similar sentiments, God bless their little hearts.
They are the perpetual optimists

Was it Pereyra in place of padoin?
