At this point i doubt they can do anything. I don't see Parma as a very traditional team as they pretty much only had a good decade in their history. But i enjoyed some of the teams they built during that time, a lot actually. And i've always loved their kits. I feel for their fans.
yeah I wouldn't say they were a traditional side, still I remember growing up watching a young Buffon, Thuram, Cannavaro, Crespo, Alain Boghossian, Asprilla etc...

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised to see them back with a slightly different name in a couple of years. I mean Napoli and Fiorentina did it too...they just need a Laurentiis.

But it's a sad day, really illustrates how Italian football has fallen.

Such a formidable team back in the days, fighting with us till the very last day for Scudetto. Some of the finest players in calcio of the 90es played there. And yeah, that jersey was fantastic.

Seriously though respect to Donadoni and to the staff and players who have stuck with the club through these tough times, I honestly can't imagine what the fans must be feeling like. God knows what this new owner is like I like to think what he is saying is true about paying the players but reading about his account being cleaned out doesn't bode well and unfortunately to say it's the fans who are made the pay with their emotions. Although I'm surprised they haven't staged some sort of protest to demand answers from the board (if they haven't done so already) shame, not that I ever had any feelings towards parma as such but I do empathise with the fans
Damn I did not know any of these. I knew they were relegated but didn't know it was because of bankruptcy

Look at this fucking shirt. It screams "Italian" and is sexy as hell, it's a masterpiece. You know what, I'm buying me that kit just to remember.

might want to get it now before the club actually dissolves and the shirt price sky rockets :D

they practically auctioned off club memorabilia, batistuta had even put his underpants on auction to help raise funds for the club

I mean look at that team. Buffon, Thuram, Cannavaro, Veron, Crespo, Stanić, Chiesa, etc... Star studded. On every position they basically had one of the best players in the world.
Parmalat had $$$$, lots of it. Look at this

Mazinho (94' WC winner and Thiago's father), Roberto Carlos (Yes, that one), César Sampaio (Another 94' WC winner and played the final in 98 against France), Edílson (The guy who destroyed Real Madrid's defense in 00), Zinho (Another WC winner), Edmundo (Paired with Batistuta at Fiorentina in the late 90's and played at the WC in 98), Evair (A legend for the club, also the guy's loved by Atalanta fans)

And you know who was also part of this team but isn't in that picture? Rivaldo. :D
