My god people comparing Nazism with racism.

I'd ask myself why people all over are racist (as you like to spit)??
Maybe cause they're not wanted? what happens when you're not wanted but the highs up still force not wanted people where they aren't welcome?

My gosh some people here...

The American Dream, as it is always portrayed in movies, is simple: if you work hard, good things happen.

Unfortunately life does not work that way. We are very slowly evolving towards a meritocracy, because deep down we know that it is more just. That much is true. But we are very far from it as of now.

USA have been ranking remarkably low in social mobility for years now. Inequality and terrible public education as the prime sinners.

The American Dream is a hoax, unless you move to Canada, Australia, Germany or Scandinavia.

Again, it depends one what the view of the dream the person has.

Religious independence and a steady middle class job? Starting your own small business? Becoming a millionaire? The Dream changes from person to person, Seven.

The fact you need to tell me that you take the dream as its portrayed in Hollywood is sad.
"The American Dream is a national ethos of the United States, a set of ideals in which freedom includes the opportunity for prosperity and success, and an upward social mobility for the family and children, achieved through hard work in a society with few barriers."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Dream

This is pretty much what I said it was though.

Here is an essay:

Thomas Wolfe said, "…to every man, regardless of his birth, his shining, golden opportunity ….the right to live, to work, to be himself, and to become whatever thing his manhood and his vision can combine to make him."
Again, its more than your paycheck. That's part of it.

As a European you have your view, as an American I have mine. It's more than paycheck.

I had an English teacher who was an Indian-South African. She actually said a lot of the time she preferred the outward racism in South Africa as opposed to the behind your back masked racism here in Aus.

I know. It's about social mobility to me. Which is not as big as you think it is in the USA.

And I'd definitely understand why.

Sacchi is an idiot for saying there are too many colored players are in the primavera sides even if he did just mean foreigners. As JuveJay said its ironic because most of these "coloured" kids will be wearing the Italian shirt in a few years.

What I don't understand is why no one is infuriated with the fact Sacchi apparently doesn't understand that black people can be Italian too.

We need more investing to the league, then only it can propel our team higher globally, better finance and improved showings in Europe.
Otherwise, every club will end up like Parma.

because everyone already know that he slipped on a banana. Plus he is almost 80years old so everyone blame it on him being senile.
But everyone agree on what he meant aka there being too many non-italians in the youths.

I'm not sure I see how the American dream and racism are exactly related. It applies evenly to all races. And I'm again not sure people understand how wide a variety of colors there are in the US. Yeah, there is racism but it is frowned upon and not in any way promoted. Saying America is the worst when it comes to racism is quite frankly absurd as shit and I feel like you're just trying to make yourself feel better about Belgium.

I never said America was the worst.. Also, while I feel pretty good about Belgium, I have no desire whatsoever to hide Belgium's problems. I did not create our problems and do not feel accountable for them whatsoever. On the other hand I do want to improve my country so if anything I'm the first to point out that we do have issues with racism.

Which, I might add, is a vastly more realistic attitude than the one you are showing.

I'll correct myself, you didn't say it's the worst. You said it's "far worse" than Italy.

I'm speaking from personal experience here. I've lived in both Europe and USA and find the former much more racist so that's why I find your statements ridiculous.
