where are x, osman, dule, and others to tell us how much better lopez is than casillas and how madrid are made a mistake letting him go.

now we know why they let him go
he IS a really good goalkeeper and better than casillas for sure. yesterdays mistake doesnt change that.

it isnt just a coincidence that Lopez was real madrids first choice keeper for the last 1,5 years. he was way better than casillas.

we have to admit that diego lopez and especially menez seem to be very good (parametri zero-)signings for meelan. i like menez, he has speed and technique: would have liked to see him in bianconero.

They are good signings, but it's easy to make good signings (especially freebies) when you have shit to begin with. If Milan want to improve the quality of their team next season they'll have to spend money.

yes, thats true.

but if meelan reach the CL this season they will have to spend a significant amout of money for the first time for years. this year they reduced their wage bill even more with the sales of kaka, balotelli, robinho and next summer other guys like mexes (4 mio net per year) oder essien (3 mio net) will leave.

according to GDM the teams in the CL 15/16 will earn around 50 percent more than in the last editions. so thats the place to make money. its crucial for meelan to reach the top-3.

Yeah but there is a lot of fixture congestion coming up:

16/09 - Malmo (H)
20/09 - Milan (A)
24/09 - Cesena (H)
27/09 - Atalanta (A)
01/10 - Atletico (A)
05/10 - Roma (H)

Then a break after that.

Milan confirm goalkeeper Diego Lopez has a hamstring injury that rules him out for at least two weeks, and they also update on Alex.

The 32-year-old pulled up in unsuccessfully attempting to reach Mattia De Sciglio’s goalbound back-pass during the closing stages of yesterday’s eventual 5-4 win at Parma.

Whilst it was suspected at the time, tests carried out today have now confirmed that the summer signing from Real Madrid has done enough damage to his right hamstring to rule him out for a while.

“The goalkeeper suffered a right hamstring injury,” Milan have communicated in a statement released today.

“He will be re-evaluated with tests to be carried out in a couple of weeks.”

The Rossoneri have also updated, in the same statement, on defender Alex’s condition.

“The defender, meanwhile, is suffering with an edema to his right adductor. In the coming days there will be further clinical evaluations to determine the prognosis.”

Lopez’s issue rules him out of next week’s top-of-the-table clash with Juventus, and Milan’s Week 4 and most likely Week 5 commitments to come.
It seems that he was not faking it

Allegri is a world class genius coach and we should on paper win the game 100 %. Problem is Milan is so unpredictable right now and they've started to play with heart so I have no clue what the game will turn out to be
