do you think roma can establish themselves as the second power in italy in the medium term? right now milans revenue (without CL) is higher than romas with CL, but with the new stadium and milans laughable management things might change. milan have sold 16.000 season tickets so far: last year at this point there were ~ 24000.

roma is going to rise with palottas money and the new stadium. i think them and inter (thohir does a good job as well) will fight for being the second fiddle in italy in the next years. milans management is way too poor to be able to compete seriously for years to come.

There is only so long that you can go along acting like a big version of Udinese and stay at a high level.

Sooner or later you have to start to behave like a big club and keep your best players.

As things stand, Napoli would seem to me to be more likely to establish themselves as they are several years ahead of Roma in their project and have a good level of stability.

Roma have just had one good season and need to demonstrate that wasn't a one-off and that they can handle put together some sort of title challenge when also dealing with European football.

don't think Napoli are going to do anything this year, I'd predict EL exit and 4-5th place finish in Serie A, considering the way they played on 2nd part of last season and against Bilbao I'm starting to think Rafa is going to do an Inter once more.

I'd say a crap EL exit to a second rate team and 3-4 in Serie A as well. Then Higuain will ask to leave and he'll join Arsenal. Arsenal will then finish 4th for the 67th consecutive Premier League season. They will draw Braga in the 2015/16 Champions League preliminary round and scrape through 1-0 on aggregate with a goal from Nikola Zigic after Higuain misses 7 clear chances to score.

napoli have regressed, a somewhat unimpressive transfer campaign, I can't honestly see them challenging for the title and even CL qual could be in doubt with fiorentina going from strength to strength as well as inter.

In the meantime they'll buy Juventus' targets Isco for 40m (before he joins Arsenal he'll be available for 15m) and Shaqiri for 35m (available for 13m if only Beppe moved faster).

I hope Inter get relegated, Icardi has his dick chopped off by a chainsaw, and Osvaldo has a 6"3 Brazilian tranny stuff his testicles up his ass for good.

You guys are forgetting that Italian teams might actually take the EL more seriously this year; the winner, after all, qualifies automatically for the CL next season.
