it's actually a great choice.

once in two years when barza and chiellini are past it we can go for a good defender and not have to break the bank.

Goodbye Benatia then?:hellyes:
However since Roma have seen that nothing worse than a slap to the wrist is given for violating ffp, they may not bother to do anything about it,especially if they put on a strong showing at the CL which would offset their losses by quite a bit.

Claudio Lotito asked fans not to “abandon” Lazio after disastrous season ticket sales this summer.

The ultras have long waged war on their President, boycotting games and official merchandise in protest at the way he runs the club.

That has been reflected in season ticket sales, which have reportedly been very poor so far this summer.

“I am well aware of the obsessive presence of some who want to mystify reality, who for many years have been holding me hostage by playing against the interests of the club,” wrote Lotito in an open letter.

“But my effort is based exclusively on reinforcing the squad and achieving results, certainly not to seek controversy.

“Lazio have installed a model of participation aimed not only at single fans, but to entire families, giving special discounts so every father can bring his children to the stadium to cheer on the Biancocelesti.

“I have already expressed my confusion at this boycott and repeat my appeal to the fans in the Curva Nord, Curva Sud, Distinti, Tevere and Monte Mario sections.

“I ask them again not to abandon Lazio. I ask them to stay united with the jersey and begin again for a new season of success.”

Only in Serie A. Not a fan of Lotito, but seriously this detrimental to the club. No true fan would do this.

I really doubt they'll be caught on that.

This being said, reports are they are now after Shaqiri offering 15M + bonus lol

Their most valuable players are Benatia, Strootman and Pjanic. They will make a lot of money on these guys.

Why? The only big offer from them, was Iturbe.
There revenues are dirty low. They are having big losses year after year, covered by Palotta injecting money on the club.

That would be hilarious if Roma are are punished by FFP. They're spending a whole lot which is surprising for a Serie A club.

Roma had a loss of 98m in the past 2 years. Their wages hit (last year this year it will be even higher) 92m (Juventus paid 115m in wages) but having a revenue of 120m something € while ours is more than dobule.
They will have to sell someone. However i think they might keep everyone for one more year to win the Scudetto and then sell 2-3 players to payback their debts. Else as someone check they would not fit in FFP.
