I am pretty sure JuveJay has stats showing that Juve have gotten 5-6 PKs fewer than Milan over the past 5 years, so you are clearly in the wrong there. The rest is , though
2013/14 - Milan 5/6 (-1) ~ Juve 4/3 (+1)
2012/13 - Milan 11/6 (+4) ~ Juventus 11/5 (+6)
2011/12 - Milan 10/3 (+7) ~ Juventus 4/3 (+1)
2010/11 - Milan 6/2 (+4) ~ Juventus 5/4 (+1)
2009/10 - Milan 10/3 (+7) - Juventus 4/5 (-1)

Total: Milan +21, Juventus +8

We have a little catching up to do...

Is this x/y penalties received vs. penalties justified or what?

See, @Red, told you so. And if JuveJay's math hadn't played a number on him, it would be even worse - Milan +22, Juve +8.
Milan obviously have a stranglehold on the refs, so Allegri has his work cut out for him at Juve.

When taking into account that it's early pre season, first match, new players, missing WC player etc, i think Roma plays fairly well. A lot more smooth than Liverpool. I think they will be a joy to watch this season (maybe not so much for us, since we will sit and hope they loose). Iturbe seems promising, he is explosive, strong and has good vision. Not in perfect shape and not played into the team off course, but it will be interesting to see how he settles.

Liverpool seems shit. How many are they missing? Gerrard (almost doesn't matter), Markovic, Sturridge?

Even if we kept Conte as coach, I wouldnt have bet on us winning it this year. You know, that whole 4th in a row thing and how hard it is. We did the 3, and there wouldnt have been much of a record to aspire to this year. So now with Roma improving, having a second year with their coach, and the fire in their bellies from missing out last season, and well... our coach... I'd say they're favourites

There's no way they can be favourites. Last year they didn't have Champions League and we beat them by 17 points.

I think the addition of CL for them equalizes the loss of Conte for us.

I don't know if I would bet my life on us winning but we're at the very least the slight favourites.

We beat them by 17 points, breaking the points record and getting over 100 in the process. Their points total would win them the title in most seasons, and we're't likely come near that points total again for a long time.

The CL will be a distraction for them, but they won't set out with great expectations, but instead will be prioritising Serie A - like us last season.

We might actually suffer more due to CL commitments, being eager to make up for last season and ensure to meet our minimum objectives.

I agree.

I think this year's Roma in CL will act much like us last year in that they're still building a squad to hold on to and work with so Serie A takes a priority for them.

We, however, will do the opposite, build a strong bench to take Serie A lightly where we can to focus further on CL and place a greater emphasis on CL glory.

But if you guys remember, Roma started off unbeaten for quite some time where as this year they will have CL games right in the middle of the first 2 months.

Are you guys saying they won't be playing starters in those matches or what? If the CL takes away even 5 or 6 points from what they achieved during that same time frame last year (which is not crazy since they were unbeaten), that's a huge blow to their final totals.

And even if we take Serie A lightly, our bench is even better than last year.

Logically to me, we still have to be clear favourites. But I do respect Roma as a clear challenge. I just think sometimes our actual collection of players don't get enough credit as being as good as they are.
