Yeah, agreed but you should take into account motivation factor as well as Conte -> Allegri swap. At this point Allegri is a big gamble, especially for Serie A. I'm not worried about CL because it would be hard to do worse than Conte did last season but in Serie A Conte owned everyone.
Allegri, when at Milan, got Milan to finish exactly where they should have each season given the players at his disposal.

It may not have been pretty, it may have been embarrassing (when they were way down the league before recovering to sneak third) and it may have needed considerable help from referees at times (but he'll get that again at Juve anyway), but he achieved par results with them each season.

Look also at his CL record, where you would say he also performed to par - only tending to lose to teams clearly stronger than Milan (and even then they put in some very good performances against Barca).

The only exception was when they lost to Spurs, and I don't think you could call that a surprise result; the teams were pretty evenly matched at the time as I recall.

Exactly, he's a good manager to preserve the satus quo so to say.

But unless he does exceptionally well, I think we should look for a new name next summer, which probably is the strategy of the board anyways. He's not able to take us to the next level or really improve the team imo.

I don't agree with this. He was hired on a 2 year deal, and who would of though Conte would have achieved what he did in those 3 years. Give him the time before we jump to conclusions.

Well, as I said if he does better than expected we should keep him. But as of now, I wouldn't see him as a long term manager.

I am pretty sure JuveJay has stats showing that Juve have gotten 5-6 PKs fewer than Milan over the past 5 years, so you are clearly in the wrong there. The rest is , though

Iturbe, Paredes, Destro, Florenzi...Roma has a bright football and all the time they are looking for more promising footballers. In next years they will surely get a trophy!
