That rule will kill Italian football even more. Not only do many Italian players suck these days but this league is in some serious need of some international superstars. Also, some teams like Udinese live and run their business through their international players.

The quality of the league go down when you have to use force some lame Italians into your team who's quality really belongs in Serie B. Sure if every European league had these same rules but there is no need to make it harder on yourself.

How will that rule even work? What if you don't have 4 Italians, what if 3 of them are injured? Are you suppose to bench a much better player like Asamoah to start Marrone or Padoin?

Roma's defender Maicon has been dropped from the national squad due to a serious breach of discipline.

The thing is, rumour in Brazil has it that they caught him having sex with Elias.
If its true, it might possibly be the funniest shit in football history. Just imagine some teammate or team official walking in on them in the camp/hotel. Bizzare.

I've heard countless stories like this one, it just doesn't ever get proved and it never will. To tell you one, there's this story about what happened at Grêmio's bus on the chair number 36 (Poltrona 36), they said they caught two players sucking each other off  They were also the first gay ultras in Brazilian Football.

That's a great rule. Will be good for calcio
No, it won't. Competition breeds success and when there is no competition for spots, the players will just become lazier. Not to mention there's not enough good Italian players for this rule to make sense. We'll always suck in Europe now.
