Biased Italian media, anti-Juve, but I have to say it wasn't a penalty in the end. The most shocking was the ref who took 5 minutes to make a call. In the end it was hilarious how he approached and asked players before making it final.

Maybe not the penalty, but some of those offsides were hilarious. Every time Sassuolo player was in line with defence it was called offside.

Yeah, no doubt it was the right decision in the end. But he pretty much lost control of the entire situation AND as you said was asking players what happened. At the end of the day it was an absolute farce. Ref says play on, assistant flags for penalty, ref gives penalty, players argue for 5 mins - drop ball given. Absolutely bizarre.
