Over on the Roma/Totti forums they're all a bunch of idiots. They keep going on about how Juve is about to decline and Roma is the only Serie A side on the rise and ready to lead Serie A forward in Europe. They honestly think that they're going to win the UCL next year or the year after with Totti. They think they're going to sign a player like Hazard this summer because Hazard is sponsored by Nike and that is their new kit deal, and Hazard likes Garcia. It's just so much illogical nonsense. And then there's the endless complaining about Juve and how they should be winning the scudetto this season, and how they will do better in the UCL than us, and how they're team is more talented. Last I heard, Florenzi is better than Pogba. :sergio:

So delusional.
Just the typical delusional crap you find on most forums really, but they're in for a special surprise next season, when they need to play 3 games a week. They'll most likely drop out of the top 3 and struggle to reach the CL, WHILST not performing at their best in their own CL group. More games, more injuries, more red cards, loss of form etc. Also relying on a 38/39 year old Totti might work against weakish Serie A opponents, he won't do a fucking thing in Europe. He never has. They're gonna be in pot 4 for sure, hopefully they draw a nice and tough group.

The Hazard to Roma because of Nike sounds like Neymar to Juve because of Nike and FIAT opening plants in Brazil :D

Via: Panorama.it

Don't know how accurate this is but Juve are still on top despite referee errors.

The interesting one is Fiorentina - Napoli. Fiorentina always get screwed. :p

Giovanni Galli is a likely possibility in becoming AC Milan's new Director of Sport. Sogliano is set to remain at Verona, and Bigon is bound to Napoli for now.
- Sky Sport

The circus continues. Really, Galli? Ex football player and commentator with 0 director experience.

Not necesarrily... Selling players is as good a source of income as selling tickets, and many teams are build with a strategy of developing players, and then sell them when their value has gone up. You would have to look a the bigger picture here - off course a club like Napoli will have last years financial result sweetened by the sale of Cavani, a sale that is not likely to be repeated this year or next year etc. So in the case of Napoli, you will not expect the income from sale of assets to be as high as last year, since Cavani was a "one-off".

However, i agree that looking at some total number doesn't tell the whole truth about "how things go" in a club. That's why you take several things into consideration, when valuating a clubs financial well-being. A clubs ability to navigate on the transfer market is an important part though, especially because football clubs in general are structured around their squad, which often counts for more than half the total assets...
