Similar to Juventus few years ago and our struggle to get back on the top. Clubs of that magnitude can't stay in the shadows for too long. They face difficult times in every decade; blame it on generation change, poor investments and decisions, or whatever, but eventually they have the infrastructure that enables them to bounce back. Huge number of fans, big income, appeal, etc...Milan was even worse in the end of 90es; they finished 9th in '98, but year after they won title.
inter, now with Thohir, will maybe have the funds to make some quality signings. Milan though, won't be able to improve their squad much.

Milan have been offloading players and cutting costs for a few years now, and next summer they might have enough to invest. They have higher income than Juve and lower wage bill. If they snatch someone like Nainggolan it'll be a good start for them.

Vieri

He did play for some of our closest rivals, but I just can't help it, I love Bobo Vieri. Awesome guy. And he still has Juve in his heart, it seems.

They face difficult times in every decade; blame it on generation change, poor investments and decisions, or whatever, but eventually they have the infrastructure that enables them to bounce back. Huge number of fans, big income, appeal, etc...Milan was even worse in the end of 90es; they literally sucked for two years in a row ('97 and '98), finishing in the middle of the table, with bunch of old players, but year after they won title.
or juve, between the platini and baggio period

Inter said to be wanting to sell to reinvest. not sure what to think of the accuracy of this story

Naingollan would be a massive boost for them
