At least based on what they've done with Liverpool so far, Warrior don't fuck up home shirts, they actually did a decent job on those both this year & last year. They just do their idiotic "experimentation" on away/third shirts, which ruins any credibility they have as a decent kit designer.

30m per year? $#@! yes. I mean, there is only so much they can do to mess up black and white stripes. It's not like our away jersey can be any worse than the pink hell from 11/12.
I loved that pink jersey that season, bought the entire strip with Pirlo on the back :D

What the? What's up with this warrior kit deal talk? God no. Please. Juve are on their way to being a global brand. The last thing you'd want and/or need is to create merchandise that doesn't fit the sensibilities of the sport. Nike themselves took a long time fitting into the 'soccer' culture, co ing up to speed with where they are today. Warrior is going to pay us good money, but I'm all for a similar deal to Inter's if it means holding on to a design sensibility that fits the culture of the spot, and it's merchandise I would buy and wear as a fan.

Even if not Nike. There Adidas, Puma, Kappa, not necessarily in that order, but fucking warrior deserves no place on the European landscape, with a modern team like ours. Fuck no. It'll be a disaster.

I believe the club has a say in the design. Liverpool management went full-retard as usual.
The club having a say in the design doesn't change much, does it? U remember our kits before last season? And that was Nike. It'll only get worse with a brand like warrior that has 0 design aesthetic. Or understanding of simplicity. Culturally, the sports they already specialise in, is bound to have an influence in their designs for a football team. And that's going to be a massive mish-mash.

Basically, it's what keeps teams competitive. We should see more of these money-spinning deals with our new success.

I just hope whoever takes this new deal on doesn't completely fuck the kits up.
Given that we are in talks with them, or have already made contact, does seem to indicate that they're effectively in the lead to get this deal, isn't it? Effectively, it'll basically be Nike match the deal or we walk. That's kind of sad, because I think merchandise and kits play a very important role in defining the image of a club across geographies. Hopefully, it's not just the money, and these guys have to pitch with their designs and vision too. Fuck man. We got to go with someone established with the culture of the sport.

More power to you, but it's fucking terrible man :D . I could live with the color, somehow. But the huge black star over half the torso, and when we combined it with white shorts. Man, what a clusterfuck

They're the same level of hideous.
No they're not. The pink kit was actually way better than the home kit that season. As it was the season before. Also. There is no comparison between the pink kit carrying the star and that warrior jersey. It's a no contest really.
