We'll face too many top sides in the 1st 10 rounds. Also return games against them will be in January and February, the period of year we usually struggle. No matter the CL it would be better to play them later when we hit optimum form.

I think the schedule is fine, more or less all of the games in Serie A are hard, it's not like there are many games were we can afford to rest most of the team.

New signings Higuain and Reina were presented to the fans, but cannot take part in the friendly with Galatasaray tonight because their international transfers have not come through yet.

The club also presented its strips for 2013-14, including the rumoured camouflage-style third choice shirt, while the second strip is yellow and grey.

“Seeing this stadium tonight, I have a great sense of civility and solidarity,” said President Aurelio De Laurentiis.

“We are on track with what we planned, as it is all happening over the course of eight years. Just look at Borussia Dortmund, who after years of construction were able to punish Bayern Munich in the German Super Cup.

“Now we are moving on to the internationalisation of Napoli. In five years the discovery will be the USA and when the stock exchange becomes a factor, we’ll be unstoppable.”

The latest buy is Higuain, who reportedly cost €37m to sign from Real Madrid.

“Higuain is a very sweet guy and I decided to sign him last Monday. We met his father and his brother in a room at the Venice airport and we quickly reached an agreement.

“We then had to get locked into a room with the lawyers at Dimaro, as the rules forbade us from letting him train with the rest of the team. On Saturday morning I broke the deadlock and in the afternoon he became to all effects a Napoli player.”

De Laurentiis believes Higuain can follow in the footsteps of Diego Armando Maradona.

“He is in a city ready to consecrate its idols, unlike Madrid. Here people expect an important result from him.”

tough games in the first 2 months.

so glad we increased our depth quality.

feels good knowing if your new signings are struggling, the ones that won you the scudetto the year before are on bench

thanks for the mention

1) So all borussia did, was work years to beat bayern in a supercup ? Lets forget both titles, who tell so much more then. (wierd answer he gave there).

2) Internationalisation, thats cute. What a cocky idiot. What did napoli win in the recent years ? Oh, they HAD cavani, participated in the CL without going very far, and got second in the serie a. Oh, they won a cup. One cup.
Yes, that is stuff for the legends.

Bunch of pathetic idiots they are. If you want to go international, you need to give those people a reason to give a damn. History, glory, recent glory.
All napoli did, was win a title so long ago, arsenal have won a trophee since.

Juventus, Milan and inter, will be far more interesting for them, since they actually have some prestigue. One won a truckload of titles won unbeaten serie a, back to back champions, one won most international trophee's in the world, and the latter won a trebble

Yeah, that italian coppa, that will do so much compared to that.
