They cant so much because these players want to move on to bigger and better things, even when they want to be in Italy, like Jovetic, Italian clubs arent able or willing to invest, there was a time when the best players in Udinese, Palermo, Fiorentina or Roma would sign for the big 3 clubs, now they all go abroad. And the more it happens, the more any emerging quality player wants to follow suit when they breakthrough.

Pretty decent for the league to see players like Ogbonna, Icardi, Belfodil, Benatia and Poli move within Serie A, on top of gaining Balotelli, Tévez, Gómez and Llorente in 2013.
