The Rossoneri are looking for a new shot-stopper for next season, as Christian Abbiati is considering retirement.

According to Bild, they have targeted Freiburg’s 23-year-old Baumann, a former Germany Under-21 international.

His contract runs until June 2018 and has a buy-out clause worth €7.5m.

Baumann is best known for a viral video of his three howlers that gifted Hamburg a 3-0 victory in October.

It became popularly known as 'the worst goalkeeping performance in Bundesliga history.’
