Yeah Deneb they are dead weight for them, so I'm not suprised they are leaving, though Cassano has been excellent creative force for them (one that cant last full games though), just that as usual he is destructive off the pitch by making himself unavailable to Stramacioni and burning bridges. But as a player, he has the unpredictable and creative factor they need as a team, so on that alone he shoudlnt be too easily discarded, especially for someone like Belfodil. Parma are huge winners in this deal. Silvestre isnt big team level defender, but a clear boost and upgrade for Parma. All in all, these should been two players they can sell without needing to loan out.

It all comes down to how much of Cassano's and Silvestre's wages Parma are paying.
If Parma were paying the wages in their entirety, Inter would be saving over 4m (8m with tax) a year on the wages and the deal would make some sense.
And Cassano's loan won't be with an option to buy because he's out of contract next season and available for nothing.
I didnt know about the contract thing with Cassano, that explains it, but I know about the wages, I just find it funny still, dumb deal. And yeah I'm defenitely sure if Cassano says yes to going to Parma, that Inter will be paying at the very least half of his salary if not more. Likes of Palladino with 0.9m is one of the high earners in Parma, thats more or less their ball park for "good" salaries.
