What is the bitter truth according to you? People are aware that Serie A is far from the fame it had during the 90es, probably 3rd or 4th league in Europe atm, but still has quality players and in a few years they'll bounce back. Clubs are taking some important steps, building new stadiums will be crucial, and new TV deal will kick in in the meantime.

But you agreed with some guy claiming that Italy is a poor country, Juve poor club, now that is hilarious.

Or that Spanish clubs have always dominated in Europe

Little perspective mate
That the quality of defending has reached an all time low in this league.People need to accept this. The fact that they've had to face attackers of lesser quality compared to the past or compared to other leagues isnt helping the cause.Standards have dropped hugely.

Even our own defense is testament to that as well.

As for the second comment,i was in troll mode and it was clearly exaggerated.Obvious troll post.

And you can laugh at the Spanish comment all you want but they have the best record of all top leagues.Just face the facts. They've dominated for two decades now.Thats enough 'domination' for me.

meh.
In the past seasons Serie A lost Ibra, Silva, Cavani, Lavezzi, Sanchez, Jovetic but now we have Tevez, Llorente, Higuain, Pogba, Rossi, Gomez, Strootman, Mertens and you call it "huge drop in quality" ?
Ibra-best CF in the world
Silva-Best CB in the world
Cavani-one of the best pure 9's in the world

I would say its a pretty big drop, yeah.

Serie A is a feeder league now.So in a season or two time most of them in your list will be jumping ship anyways.

1) Agree
2) nope
3) yes, but we have Tevez, Llorente, Rossi, Higuain, Gomez instead of him, still drop in quality? you've gotta be kidding me
4) even so, they will be replaced with another good players

 Lol.

What about Ibra, Cavani, Silva? They haven't been replaced in the league by anything close. Those are major players!
I said that you can't replace Ibra, while Cavani and Silva are replaceable - Tevez, Llorente, Higuain, Rossi, Gomez, who else do you want? Messi?! lol, as for Silva i don't rate him that high, he is error prone, look at Benatia's progress for example, he is already most wanted central defender for the upcoming summer

1.Fair enough
2.Then who is it ? Please tell me ,i want to know
3.None of them are world class to me.They're top class players but not elite like Ibra,Aguero or Suarez for example.
4.Yes,they'll mostly be unknown young players who then be sold for big amounts to the richer leagues.Serie A teams lack financial stability ,its not hard to see this and i dont know how its gonna help in the long term when most of the league are feeder teams.

Agreed about the drop, not entirely about the feeder league, i got the impression we are getting past that.

Aguero is elite,Tevez WAS once elite but now still a top class player nonetheless.Simple enough difference to me.

Exactly.

And even if Italy, especially with the Brazilian climate, are a little bit hit and miss this WC imo, I really do not see any defense bar the Brazilian better than Italys.
Plenty of teams will go there with solid defenses. Even England's defense is great, not only name-wise but also when you consider Cahill and Terry play together all the time. LB will be Baines, who's nothing short of amazing. Idk about RB but that's a great defense as far as I'm concerned.

You are solid person especially when you are from penislvania and you doesn't know that Terry is retired from international football

Yeah, I'd place England 3rd place, but I wouldn't say that Baines-Terry-Cahill-RB is better than Barzagli-De Rossi/Bonucci/Paletta-Chiellini.

Apparently Terry retired. But still, I wouldn't say it's better either. But a lot will go down to playstyle.

I agree with RUS here, Italy have good defenders.
He said Serie A, not Italy.
