That is true, but apart from the second game against Nordsjælland, he was just plain awful. You got to give at least something to the coach to keep up his belief in you, and besides a couple of terrible crosses and infinite running, he still hasn't showed anything. Finally, it would be unfair to the likes of Padoin to be ignored just because some guy deserves to get a chance. Everybody creates their own chances and if Isla can't create one while competing with Padoin, then there is nothing that he can offer to us. But I personally still believe in him, he just needs some consistency to hit a good form and then will see what he is capable of.
But seriously how many times we've seen players who are doing extremely well in a certain club just to screw up somewhere else. shevchenko rings any bells?
Not to underestimate Sheva or Cavani's talents but got a feeling that this guy won't cut it in a big club. Personally I've said that about Sanchez before he joint Barca and people there pretty much are fed up with him right now.
I would love Cavani here, that doesn't mean I like him now. I would probably love him if would come here and perform. Just like Lich, he was very unlikable, but when he is with us he is very likable
