Probably yes. Buck thinks that sponsors will pay less if there are fewer games but I see it as fewer lousy games which are irrelevant and it would raise competitiveness overall.
It's always a bad sign when teams are squeezing two or three sponsors onto their kits. I used to laugh at the french league for this very reason, and now it's all too prevalent in Serie A.

Very hard thing to do. As we don't play every game at home teams who aren't favorable with individual selling could forbid the broadcasting. There needs to be consensus about this matter. Currently more teams are against it.
