I saw this piece of news today and can't help but think that Zingaro might go after Silva. He cannot stand not to win and it may seem by selling Silva that Milan have no ambition next year.

I think it is smart from Milan. That is a lot of money for a defender. They could get a top replacement like Hummels and still have money left over to buy a midfielder that they need. But they might just be stupid and keep all the money. Who knows.

So the Supercoppa is scheduled and located the way Napoli wanted?
God, why do we always cave in?.... Our internationals will barely be back on august 11th FFS. And they have to travel all the way to China? :sergio:

Just goes to show you how far serie a has fallen, Juve won't be able to hold onto their key players in the near future either. This really is dark ages for serie a at the moment
dark ages for AC Peelan.

Teams in Serie A need to stop making it a norm to sell players abroad before players start seeing this league as nothing more than a league that could lead them to something better. Don't want to lose guys like Vidal because they feel that they need to play at the very highest level.
Money talks, bullshit walks.

I still have no doubts this league can attract (and hold on to) star players if needed. But do you really blame Milan for selling TS for 50M? You'd be stupid not to consider it, nothing to do with the leagues stature, more a financial decision.
