Palermo have a pretty good team though. Sirigu, Cassani, Bovo, Munoz (very talented young defender), Balzaretti, Migliaccio, Liverani, Pastore, Hernandez, Miccoli, Maccarone. They have Rossi from the start now and the team is used to play together. They sold Cavani to Napoli but i think Hernandez is an even more talented striker.

I saw the second half against Muribar in EL yesterday. Pastore scored a great goal. :hellyes:

Palermo are kind of my second team so i hope they'll become second, just behind Juve:ultra:

They won't get a CL spot this season.

    Inter - Roma tonight

Super cup - predictions? I see lots of goals, like usual :D

I think Inter are clearly favorites but I see Roma lifting a trophy.

I hope it's Pandev or some other quality player who brings unique qualities to the Inter team. Not Muntari or some defender from the bench.

I think a Kuyt - Pandev swap would still be in Inter's favor. Though i think that Rafa wants Pandev to stay, i doubt he'd include him in any swap deal.

I'm pretty sure that it will not. Inter didn't lack athleticism or other attributes Kuyt offers. He will only make them (much) stronger in that department. But in Europe they badly lacked someone like Pandev. It was absolutely not a coincidence that Inter became a force in Europe only in the second part of last year after they bought Pandev. What Inter needed before last season was a player like Sneijder and a player like Pandev. When they finally got both of them, the team was ready to kick ass, which it did.

If Pandev was playing for Real or Barca then a Kuyt-Pandev swap would have been in Real's/ Barca's favor, but in this case it isn't.

Liverpool was the team Pandev was mostly linked with in his Lazio days. Benitez likes him a lot, I think. He also played him regularly in every single summer friendly on the left side of the attack. I think you're right that Rafa wants Pandev to stay.

The problem with Palermo is that if they lose a couple of games Zampa goes apeshit, the coach is never left alone to work. He has dragged the club up for years but he also hinders them in that way.
