I was giving you an example on who is available other than Aquilani and even better.
But my point wasn't just who is a better player so much as what signing is a better option. Would Madrid loan Gago to us?

Take into account that if we buy Gago permanently then we likely won't have $ for a new CB. Anyway the only thing Gago has on Aquilani is his ability to stay fit.

Whatever I think an Aquilani loan would be a great move.

At the expense of Eto'o?
You see theres the problem. Eto'o doesn't want to play on the flanks this season. He made that perfectly clear in some of his interviews this summer. He also said he was unhappy being played out of position last season and that he talked to Rafa about him playing in his more favored central position.

You know when Eto'o played on the wing and didn't say anything? When Mourinho was coaching Inter.

Where will Eto'o play then? Neither him nor Milito should be on the bench.
I don't know. I'm not even sure what formation Rafa will play, maybe he won't play a 4-2-3-1. I didn't follow any of their pre season, so i have no idea what they plan to do.

So is at Milito's expense?

Meh, people will bash me for this but i would sell Milito.
Really? Why?

Depends upon the timing and size of the offer. I certainly wouldn't do it right now when there is very little time to spend the incoming money on a replacement.
Report: Aquilani joins Juventus
Friday 20 August, 2010
Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani has agreed to join Juventus on loan, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

Roy Hodgson intimated last night that the former Roma youngster was likely to go back to Italy temporarily.

Juventus have been in the market for a ball-playing central midfielder all summer, but attention has so far focused on Lazio's Cristian Ledesma.

Il Corriere understands that an option to buy Aquilani outright has also been included in the deal.

Aquilani's agent Franco Zavaglia is said to be in Liverpool to conclude the arrangment.

Il Corriere are so confident that the loan will go through that they have released tomorrow's front page in anticipation.

Locker room harmony. Regardless of Milito's form last season i consider Eto'o the better player of the two and it would be a waste to bench either of them. Milito's 31 years old and it's probably the last chance to cash big on him.

Actually i would've kept Balotelli and sold Milito.

Report: Kuyt close to Inter
Friday 20 August, 2010
Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt will be reunited with Inter boss Rafa Benitez next week, according to Der Telegraaf.

It's no secret that Benitez would like the Holland international to join him in Italy after spending the last four years together at Anfield.

Der Telegraaf understands Liverpool were in negotiations with a delegation from Inter all day yesterday.

Kuyt was left out of Roy Hodgson's squad for last night's Europa League Play-off against Trabzonspor at Anfield.

The report has been given credence by comments from Kuyt's agent Rob Jansen.

Speaking to Voetbal International, Jansen said: “Yes, there is concrete interest from Inter, but Dirk has not yet decided if he wants to leave Liverpool.

“This is also a complicated transfer. Dirk Kuyt is a key player for Liverpool, he has an ongoing contract and was recently in the World Cup Final.

“He may move to Inter or just stay at Liverpool. There is also the possibility that a player from Inter could be included in the deal with Dirk Kuyt.”

Seems like its still in the early stages if they don't have a figure and are still considering players being included in the deal.

They will work out something. My guess is that Kuyt will take Pandev's spot in the starting XI, while Pandev will take Balotelli's spot (Occasional starter and first choice sub).
Pandev gave to Inter what they lacked in the first part of the season. Someone who could take on players and help Sneijder in the passing game. Kuyt will give different qualities.

It's easy for them now. They had the winning team. Now they're just improving some details. Lets hope that Benitez will try to change more than just some details and fuck it up in the end by completely destroying a winning team.
I doubt it will happen, but I hope it will :D
