On paper Milan's team looks pretty crap (with the exception of 2-3 players). But you never know how good they will be in reality. With an ambition + talented young coach like Allegri and the club's long experience they might still be in the top 4 at the end of this season.

Clubs like Genoa and Napoli hopefully will be ahead of Milan at the end of this season. Atleast these clubs have a serious ambition unlike that nursing house in Milano.

Jovetic out for eight months

Stevan Jovetic will require two operations on his knee and be out for eight months, confirmed his specialist surgeon. “He was very shaken and in shock.”

The 20-year-old Fiorentina star was originally thought to be out for between six and seven months, but the situation is even worse than feared.

“He will require two operations. The first to stabilise the external collateral ligament and external meniscus, while the stabilisation of the anterior cruciate ligament will be done in a second operation,” Dr Ulrich Boenisch told the official Fiorentina website.

The surgery will begin on Monday in Augsburg, near Munich, where the likes of Arjen Robben and Miroslav Klose have already been treated.

“The lay-off time will be around two months more than the six for a traditional operation, but the two surgeries will guarantee an easier recovery process for the player.”

Jovetic was set to be the focal point of the team this season, but last Tuesday he badly damaged knee ligaments in training and his career hangs in the balance.

“He was very shaken,” continued Dr Boenisch. “I described the clinical diagnosis and found him to be in shock when he realised how bad the lesion was and what awaits him.

“At the end of the day I think he found faith in us and relaxed a little bit. The most difficult thing is telling a young athlete that he’ll need two operations with an 8-10 week gap between them.

“I urge the fans to have faith, not just in me, but in the work of the club’s whole medical staff. It is crucial that my operation goes well, but the rehabilitation must also be perfect.”

Oh man, cant stress enough how much sympathy I have for Jovetic. Poor guy.

They'll hope for some Ronaldinho magic glimpses
Mark my word, we will see the Ronaldinho of last seasons in Barca and first Milan season this coming season. 100% reason he was the genial Ronaldinho for them last season (it was more then glimpses, first season was just glimpses) was because of the world cup, that motivation will be gone for this season. Its such a shame how he wastes what he can truly do.

As if Fiorentina fans wouldn't celebrate a massive injury at Juventus, the actual Florentines that is. It's a difficult situation for people here, they like other teams players a lot because of whatever reason, but really the standard reaction would be to be happy, we are Juventus fans not puristic observers.
