Yea. I don't celebrate any player being injured but I'm still waiting to hear Osman's logic for how this in no way benefits Juventus.
Because I dont see them as much of direct rivals for spots, and if we need them to get injuries so we can get above then, then its just pathetic and says unfavourable things about us.

And there is being rivals, and there is being happy or celebrating a fine young player possibly getting a career damaging injury. Thats just retarded and hateful.

So you ignored my other posts where I condemned celebrating injuries?

All I said was that it benefits Juventus because I don't think we can assume that we will be out of Fiorentina's league this season. We should be, but I believe Del Neri to be a mediocre manager and we still have mediocre players in important positions.

Genoa is still a mid table club, they have an impressive lineup and good home form but will struggle to win consistently on the road.

Report: Maicon off the market!
Sunday 8 August, 2010

There are reports that Douglas Maicon has been taken off the market, scuppering his proposed €28m move to Real Madrid.

The transfer was almost complete, to the degree that the only obstacle was thought to be his wage demands.

However, over the last couple of days Coach Rafa Benitez and captain Javier Zanetti have publicly urged the right-back to remain at San Siro.

According to Sky Sport Italia, President Massimo Moratti met with technical director Marco Branca this evening to discuss the situation.

It’s suggested Moratti himself made the decision to take Maicon off the market regardless of how much Real Madrid could offer for the Brazilian.

If Mario Balotelli is heading for Manchester City – with Roberto Mancini claiming the deal will be done by Thursday – Inter do not want to weaken their side further by losing Maicon.

F you Benitez let him go.

Because Benitez has been publicly proclaiming that he intends to keep Maicon who was before these statements openly negotiating with Madrid. You think Benitez had nothing to do with this?

A manager is obviously going to want to keep one of the best players in the world, but he certainly won't have the final say on the matter.

Indeed, he can however have a say in the matter, not that the final decision would be his but he sure can influence it.

Anyways, i don't blame benitez at all, i wouldn't want to lose maicon if i was inter's coach either.

Cant blame anyone at all in this, even in our biased standards. But indeed this quite bad news for us, Inter would be better even without Maicon, but he is HUGELY important for them. Would be quite the setback if they sold him.
