Thiago Motta will be 30 by the time the next big tournament comes in 2012 and he might not even be good enough anymore in 2014. There is little use of him right now, especially if he takes the place of a much younger Marchisio or some other CM.

As an option to have in the squad he's not too bad and perhaps he can even do what Senna did for Spain. Senna also debuted when he was 30 and played on one tournament where he was great.

But Spain lacked players with Senna's characteristics while Italy doesn't really need Thiago Motta. Good player, which is proven by the fact that he was an important player for a CL winning team, but it might be too late for him.
Lippi should have taken him to SA instead of Gattuso. Now there's little use to play him.
Also, Senna is/was a very good player, a top midfielder, Motta isn't.

Are you Italian?
yup, Sicilian. Born and grew up in the Netherlands tho'

I'm not being racist or anything, I would welcome Ballo to the NT. I think he's a douche and deserves no respect, but the kid is a good player. But generally the Italian NT and its supporters arw patriotic. It's clear that when the anthem comes people go wild, and scream, and feel proud and shit. But when the common shared opinion in Italy when it comes to Ballo or most blacks is ''a Negro can't be Italian'' than I see no reason to play him if it would cause some sort of commotion. That's just my two cents of this whole thing. It's sad, but that's the current situation imo. Was even down in Palermo on holiday and talked to some people over there and no one wants to have Ballo wearing the Italian jersey. It's sad but it's the current situation and the kid won't perform good if there comes a shitload of commotion.

so RAI decided to ban the "moviola" on their shows because it created to much controversy and heated debates. They will just show the match highlights and an expert will analyze the play and no comments will be made later.

A bit late huh. How much we had to endure in the past and now :mute: when inter score on a 5m offside? :p

I bet that when we score and DP's birdie is offside by 3mm they'll have a 30min debate about it. :sigh:
now they decided with the ref association that they'll "analyze" 3 controversial play per round with some "experts" in the studio.

F*CK OFF!!!

Rafael Benitez’s first signing in charge of Inter could be Genoa striker Giuseppe Sculli, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
